Take a trip to the beach every Wednesday at 11:30 am with Balance! Balance is a brand new 30-minute health and wellness variety show that features topics from physical fitness tips to health news. Each week a prominent wellness-related guest from Los Angeles will also grace the Balance beach set to talk about and demonstrate what they know and do best.
Meet Our Producers and Hosts:
Carly Lynn, Host
Carly Lynn is a senior studying Communication and Cinema. This is her second year working on Balance, last year as a producer and now as a host. In her free time, Carly enjoys doing yoga, riding horses, going to the beach, and getting creative in the kitchen. Since she was young, Carly has held a strong interest in health and wellness. She has been living a gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free lifestyle for over six months. Carly is an active member of her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and several other on-campus clubs such as Alpha Lambda Delta Academic Honors Fraternity and USC Discretionary Board. Carly dreams to one day be the “Oprah Winfrey” of the health food world!
Andrea Martinez, Host
Born and raised in South Florida, Andrea moved to Los Angeles at the age of 19 to attend school at USC and pursue her dream of becoming a world-renowned journalist. Majoring in broadcast and digital journalism, she spends most of her time finding stories, writing, filming, or editing for upcoming projects. When she’s not busy with schoolwork, she loves hitting the gym, running, hiking, doing yoga, reading, and exploring Los Angeles. Margaux Farrell, Segment Host
Margaux Farrell is a first-year graduate student studying broadcast journalism at the University of Southern California. She graduated in May of 2012 from Indiana University where she was a multiple-time All-American and school record holder. She holds dual citizenship with France and was also a member of the French National Swim Team. Her most recent accomplishment for the French team includes earning a bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympic Games as a member of the 4×200 meter freestyle relay. Margaux enjoys many different forms of exercise. Some of her favorites include running, spinning, Bikram yoga, and step aerobics! Theresa Pablos, Creator/Executive Producer
Theresa Pablos is a senior at the University of Southern California pursuing a B.A. in Broadcast and Digital Journalism and minoring in Cinematic Arts and Digital Studies. She is currently the Showrunner for Balance and a senior producer for CU@USC. Theresa is highly interested in film and television production and development. Kiersten Stanley, Co-Executive Producer
A Writing for Screen and Television major, Kiersten Stanley hails from Brentwood, TN, a suburb of Nashville. Kiersten considers the South her home and loves returning to Nashville for the BBQ, biscuits and gravy, music scene, and Southern hospitality. Now in her sophomore year at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, she loves Los Angeles’ weather, the friends she’s made at school, and the unique opportunities LA and USC provide, including her chance to work on Balance. Returning for a third season on Balance as the Co-Executive Producer, Kiersten tries to maintain a balanced lifestyle by exercising regularly, eating tons of fruits and veggies, and allowing herself to indulge in her favorite sweet: chocolate.
Megan Sullivan, Senior Producer
Megan is a senior at the University of Southern California. She will graduate in May with a B.S. in Computer Science and minors in 3D Animation and Cinematic Arts. She started working with Balance last spring as an associate producer, and she’s excited for another great season! Her favorite ways to stay fit include dancing and hiking, and she has a major smoothie obsession. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in film/TV editing. Check her out online here.

Erica Henson, Associate Producer
Erica was born and raised in Orange County, California. In high school she took several film classes that helped cultivate her love for film and television. This eventually led her to the School of Cinematic Arts where she has honed her passion over the last several years. When Erica is not in class or interning she enjoys playing video games and watching TV and someday hopes to have a career in editing or producing!

Alexandra Kyllingstad is a first-year screenwriting student from Beverly, Massachusetts (about 45 minutes north of Boston). Growing up near the ocean, she loves sailing and just generally being out on the water!
